Formación

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in gardening and landscaping.
• Certificate in Gardening, Landscaping, Horticulture or related field is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the health of plants and green spaces.
• Water, feed, trim and maintain plants, trees and shrubs.
• Fertilise and mow lawns.
• Weed gardens and keep paths free from litter and debris.
• Perform seasonal landscaping duties (pruning, planting, leaf removal, clean-ups).
• Prepare terrain for landscaping (fertilising, seeding, transplanting).
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers).
• Maintain irrigation systems (manual/automatic).
• Hand water and monitor irrigation systems where required.
• Identify/manage weeds, pests and plant diseases.
• Clean outdoor areas using rakes, brooms, hoses.
• Provide messenger or driving services when necessary.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
