Job summary

TIH is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to enable and improve employee performance through structured facilitation, coaching, and data-driven insights. You will bridge training delivery with on-the-job results, using performance metrics and feedback to identify gaps and drive ongoing coaching support.

You will design, deliver, and adapt learning solutions, collaborate with leaders and SMEs, and monitor the impact of interventions to support business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or SAQA equivalent is essential.
• Diploma or degree in Learning & Development, HR, Education or related field preferred.
• ETDP qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Coaching certification is advantageous.
• RE5 or insurance related certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning interventions both face-to-face and virtual, aligned to business needs.
• Conduct 1:1 and group coaching to improve performance and behaviours.
• Analyse performance data to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
• Design or adapt learning content to address identified gaps and be relevant to operations.
• Track and report on learning impact and provide insights to stakeholders.
