About the Role

Our client, a leading pediatric therapy center in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist. This role is focused on assessing and treating children with a wide range of developmental, physical, and sensory processing challenges. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children to identify developmental, sensory processing, motor skill, and fine/gross motor challenges. Implement therapeutic interventions to address children's needs, including sensory integration, fine motor skill development, and daily living activities. Provide therapy services both in the clinic setting and through home visits within the Vereeniging area. Educate and train parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing professional development activities. Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Registration with the relevant professional board (e.g., HPCSA). Proven experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, with a strong focus on developmental and sensory integration therapy. In‑depth knowledge of child development, pediatric conditions, and therapeutic interventions. Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
