You will collaborate with families, physicians, and therapists to create individualized care plans and stay current with research, ensuring optimal development and well-being for each child.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or Doctorate) in Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Professional licensure or certification as required for practice in South Africa.
• Extensive experience in pediatric developmental assessment and intervention.
• In-depth knowledge of child development and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments and evaluations for children.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to families to support home development.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, educators and other specialists.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed and document assessments and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments and evaluations for children with suspected delays or disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and therapeutic strategies.
