Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable Child Development Specialist to join our team in Soweto. You will assess developmental progress of children aged 0-6, identify concerns, and craft tailored support plans in collaboration with families and educators.

You will monitor progress, liaise with external specialists for referrals, and contribute to a center renowned for child welfare and early intervention services in the Gauteng community.

Qualifications

• A degree in Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Proven experience in child assessment and intervention planning.
• Strong understanding of child development milestones and theories.
• Excellent analytical, observational and interpersonal communication skills.

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children aged 0-6.
