Job summary

Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is seeking a meticulous Payroll Administrator / Accountant in Centurion, Gauteng. You will handle end-to-end payroll for the group while performing core accounting tasks including debtors, creditors, and asset accounting.

Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role requires precision and confidentiality. The position combines payroll processing with general ledger duties, bank reconciliations, and governance tasks.

Qualifications

• Matric with Accounting and a tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Proficient in SAGE People 300 payroll software and advanced MS Excel.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll administration and financial accounting.
• Detail-oriented with high numeric accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
• Must supply references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration for 1400+ monthly salary payments, verifying timesheets and tax deductions.
• Manage creditors and debtors, invoices, statements and collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage employee expenses.
• Record keeping in general ledger and asset accounting, including depreciation.
• Support governance and ensure confidentiality of financial data.
