Placements24 is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Rustenburg. You will create, prepare, and present desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods, collaborating with the Executive Chef to design menus.

This role offers a chance to showcase dessert artistry, work with high-quality ingredients in a modern kitchen, and mentor junior pastry staff while maintaining sanitation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar baking role.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Creativity and passion for dessert artistry; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections.
• Develop new dessert menus and specials with the culinary team.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of baked goods.
• Manage pastry inventory and order ingredients as needed.
• Train and mentor junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
