Job summary

Barloworld Equipment (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in the parts warehouse. You will ensure accuracy of stock, pick and bin parts, and maintain stock counts while adhering to safety and SOP guidelines.

The role requires Grade 12, good communication, 1-2 years warehouse experience, and familiarity with SAP EWM is an advantage. You should be able to work independently, follow instructions precisely, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Excel is advantageous.
• 1-2 years warehouse and supply chain experience preferred.
• SAP EWM experience is advantageous.
• Investigative orientation and problem solving are required.
• Customer service orientation and good communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions 100%.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure relevant daily warehouse KPI targets are exceeded.
• Comply with order-type specifications by customer within time and quality standards.
• Carry out warehouse procedures safely per SOPs, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain stock accuracy, reduce stock losses and damages, and manage parts stock.
• Ensure stock counts, picking, and binning are accurate.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and implement controls.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.

• Ensure relevant daily warehouse KPI’s are exceeded
• Comply to specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards
• Ensure warehouse procedures are carried out safely within the framework of compliance to SOP's.
• Ensure duties are carried out to ensure achievement of warehouse performance standards. (i.e. Maintain parts stock, reduce stock looses/damages)
• Ensure accuracy of stock counts, picking, binning
• Effective investigation and resolution of all stock discrepancies and implement control measures.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
