Guam Jobs Online in Rosebank, Gauteng, seeks a Parts Department Clerk to manage and issue heavy equipment parts, tools, and maintenance supplies for field mechanics and shop personnel. You will handle inventory, research parts, process orders, support technicians, and maintain records, including returns and invoices.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of heavy construction equipment, automotive systems and inventory control software.
• Must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with vendors, mechanics and coworkers.
• Must be able to work a full-time schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsabilités

• Inventory Management: Track stock levels, log incoming shipments and conduct routine physical inventory counts.
• Parts research: Identify correct OEM parts for heavy machinery using catalogs, databases or inspections.
• Ordering and Receiving: Place purchase orders, process incoming freight and stock shelves.
• Technician Support: Issue parts to service work orders and prioritise urgent repairs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain computerized inventory records, process invoices, and manage returns.
• Back up support for Parts Department Administrative Assistant as needed.

PARTS DEPARTMENT CLERK

The parts department clerk will manage, organize, and issue heavy equipment parts, tools, and maintenance supplies for field mechanics and shop personnel.

Key Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

• . Inventory Management: Track stock levels, log incoming shipments and conduct routine physical inventory counts.
• . Parts research: Search and issue parts from CPD inventory to customers. Identify correct original equipment manufacturer parts for heavy machinery using catalog, digital databases or physical insepctions. Will support all parts request for applicable BCC business units.
• . Ordering and Receiving: Place purchase orders with vendors, process incoming freight and stock warehouse shelves.
• . Technician Support: Issue parts to service work orders, handle counter requests and prioritize urgent machinery repairs.
• . Record Keeping: Maintain computerized inventory records, process invoices, and manage warranty or core returns.
• . Back up support for Parts Department Administrative Assistant as needed.
