Job summary

Masterparts is seeking a warehouse operative to support stock control and dispatch in a busy automotive aftermarket environment. The role involves offloading, goods receiving checks, stock picking, packing, and maintaining orderly storage areas.

The candidate should be accurate with stock numbers, physically fit for heavy lifting, and comfortable standing for long periods. Prior warehouse and dispatch experience is beneficial; various safety certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• We require someone who is very accurate with stock numbers.
• You must be in good health and able to perform physically demanding work.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket is advantageous.
• Product knowledge of automotive spares is advantageous.
• Experience in a medium to large warehouse is beneficial.
• Experience in a busy dispatch environment is beneficial.
• General mechanical/technical knowledge is beneficial.
• Computer literacy is advantageous.
• A valid forklift license is beneficial.
• Health and Safety, First Aid, and Firefighting certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Offloading stock.
• Checking goods received.
• Moving bulk inventory and packing stock away.
• Picking of stock.
• Checking picked and packed store.
• Packing freight parcels.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse (Cleaning and tidying).
• Doing periodical stock counts.
• Security of warehouse.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
