Job summary

TLT Resourcing Ltd in Cape Town is seeking a Document Production Technician to join our team in Observatory. This part-time role (30 hours/week, 9am-4pm, Mon-Fri) offers steady work with complex legal documents.

You will manage DP projects, troubleshoot MS Office and Litera, and produce, amend and secure documents, with higher attention to accuracy and quality. Training and mentoring staff will also be part of your remit.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal or professional services environment is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Experience with track changes, versioned documents and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex DP projects and maintain tracking docs to meet timescales.
• Troubleshoot and provide expert MS Office and Litera support.
• Produce and amend complex documents, attachments and reports accurately.
• Create PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams and Excel spreadsheets.
• Transcribe large dictations quickly and accurately.
• Edit, redact and secure PDFs; perform mail merges and assist mass mailings.
