Job summary

Rosebank College, a leading private higher education institution in South Africa, seeks an IT lecturer to deliver specialised modules and engage students. You will manage resources, update the LMS, and develop assessments while collaborating with the Central Academic Team.

The role requires 2+ years of lecturing experience in IT networks, with an Honours or Masters in IT or equivalent. Strong student support and fixed hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ lecturing or tutoring in computer networks, autonomous networks, sensor networks, network security or cognate IT discipline.
• Industry experience in IT networks or digital productivity platforms is advantageous.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Develop assessments in line with team briefings and track progress.
• Identify at-risk students and support with targeted interventions.
• Attend academic meetings and contribute to module improvement.
• Review and analyse student results for module performance.
