Job summary

Rosebank College, part of The Independent Institute of Education, seeks a lecturer to teach IT modules and engage students for assessments. You will manage learning materials, update the LMS, and support student success while collaborating with the Central Academic Team.

Requirements include an Honours or Masters in IT/CS/IS, plus 2+ years of lecturing experience in IT, with knowledge of networks and security. A strong commitment to academic excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Honours or Masters in IT/CS/IS/Computing or closely related field.
• Two years’ lecturing/tutoring experience in IT topics preferred.
• Experience with network security, autonomous/sensor networks, and related IT domains.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures per module pacers in line with curriculum.
• Update LMS, provide timely feedback, and support student learning.
• Assist in developing assessments and engaging with Central Academic Team.
• Track and analyse module results to identify at-risk areas.
• Participate in academic meetings and support at-risk students.
