Job summary

Qualifications

• Honours or Masters in IT/CS or related field with networks focus.
• Two years’ lecturing/academic facilitation experience in IT or cognate field.
• Relevant teaching and/or industry experience in networks and security.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module pacers.
• Update learning materials and consult the Information Centre.
• Update the LMS and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and identify at‑risk students.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions with escalation.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on module results and support at‑risk students.
• Pursue academic professional development to enhance teaching.
