Rosebank College invites applications for a full-time IT lecturer to teach and assess across designated modules. You will track progress, support at-risk students, and coordinate with the Central Academic Team to develop assessments.

We seek candidates with honours or masters in IT or related fields, at least two years of lecturing experience, and strong knowledge of network and information systems concepts. An active SA higher education environment understanding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Honours or Masters in IT or related field with relevant IT specialization.
• Minimum two years of lecturing or tutoring in IT or cognate discipline.
• Copy of academic transcript required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments, identify at-risk students, and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions with escalation.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development interventions per cycle.
