Qualifications

• Master's or PhD with demonstrated research methodology expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Teaching and Learning delivery across courses.
• Monitor and evaluate engagement on the learner management system.
• Support students throughout their learning journey and provide feedback.
• Conduct online teaching and contribute to programme delivery.
• Lead Programme Coordination Committee meetings.
• Contribute to programme improvements (content and assessments).
• Lead subject/module consultations and marking with timely feedback.

Job Purpose:

The role of the incumbent is to facilitate all aspects of the teaching and learning process. The role includes the implementation of the teaching and learning strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning and meet delivery outcomes and to promote and encourage research and innovation in teaching and learning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for Teaching and Learning Delivery in respect of:

• Monitoring and evaluating engagement on the Learner Management System.
• Students' success rates at modular level.
• Continuous student support and development.
• Online Teaching and learning.
• Programme Coordination Committee meetings.
• Contributes to programme improvements (content and assessments).
• Subject/module consultations.
• Marking on time in order to provide students with quality feedback.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD with demonstrated research methodology expertise.
• Alternatively: A Masters with demonstrated research methodology

Experience

• 2-3 years' lecturing, research supervision
• Research publication experience will be advantageous.
  
• Online lecturing experience at a Tertiary level is advantageous
