Job summary

BDO Wealth Advisers in Cape Town invites applications for a Para-Planner to join the Financial Planning team. This full-time, permanent role offers collaboration with senior planners, participation in client meetings, and exposure to compliance and policy alignment as a FPI Approved Financial Planning Practice.

Candidates with CFP qualification or actively pursuing CFP, plus 3–5 years in a similar role, will be considered. Experience with Elite Wealth software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of financial planning concepts and products.
• Experience with investments and taxation analysis is advantageous.
• CFP designation or progress toward CFP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Financial Planners throughout the full planning process.
• Interact with clients in meetings and follow firm policies.
• Contribute to training, events, and ongoing professional development.
