Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years in a team leadership or supervisory role in manufacturing or packaging.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good understanding of packaging machinery and production processes.
• Knowledge of health, safety and quality standards relevant to packaging industry.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must reside in or commute to Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
• A relevant technical qualification is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of production operators on the packaging lines.
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of volume, quality, and timeliness.
• Monitor packaging processes and address inefficiencies or defects.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Train and mentor team members and foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain production records and report on team performance and metrics.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Promote efficient use of materials and resources.
• Conduct daily team briefings and performance discussions.
