Job summary

JC Le Roux in Stellenbosch, part of Heineken, invites applications for a Packaging Department Production Supervisor based in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will report to the Unit Manager and lead a production team to ensure the packaging line runs smoothly and targets are met.

The role requires at least two years in production supervision within a high-speed bottling environment, a relevant technical qualification, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years relevant experience as a Production Supervisor.
• Experience in a high-speed, high-tech bottling environment.
• Trade or relevant technical qualification (National Diploma or Degree).
• Computer literacy, MS Office.
• Experience in FMCG environment advantageous.
• NQF 5 Manufacturing Management or Operations Management advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and make relevant decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
• Self-motivated, action driven, and a team player.
• Sound leadership and conflict management experience.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO/HACCP Quality Management systems.
• Must be able to work shifts and extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve business and production plan.
• Lead production team and oversee machines and equipment.
• Minimise losses and write-offs.
• Reducing unplanned down time.
• Manage Workflow Improvement processes (DCS - Daily Control Systems).
• Ensure TPM activities are managed and executed.
• Managing Time & Attendance of employees.
• Develop the team.
• Contribute to a balanced scorecard of PQCDSM.
