Job summary

SAB is seeking a Packaging Operations Manager to lead CI initiatives that improve packaging unit performance and reliability. You will coordinate NPD trials and projects, enabling maintenance teams to focus on routine work while guiding the shift teams with coaching and mentorship.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree, 3–5 years of factory production experience at a management level, and a proven track record in people leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Instrumentation engineering.
• 3–5 years factory production experience at a management level.
• Proven people management and continuous improvement track record.

Responsibilities

• Improve packaging unit performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Execute non-routine activities such as NPD, trials and projects to support operations and maintenance teams.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Packaging Levels 1, 2, 3 and develop team competencies.
• Analyse plant performance data to identify opportunities for performance improvement and waste reduction.
