Job summary

Solenis, a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, seeks a line operator at our Gauteng site. You will receive chemical deliveries, operate a forklift (if trained), offload materials, and perform daily stock checks while ensuring clean, safe storage and accurate paperwork.

You will monitor lines for leaks, support maintenance starts, and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift to receive chemical deliveries and offload materials.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas per site rules.
• Record daily stock and input reports accurately.
• Monitor dosing lines and pumps for leaks or faults and report promptly.

Responsibilities

• Receive chemical deliveries from Diversey and offload from trucks.
• Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to day tanks if needed.
• Submit paperwork after deliveries to Technicians.
• Keep containment and storage areas clean and free of spills.
• Inspect lines, nozzles, and conveyors for issues and clear blockages.
• Perform routine testing and counts as part of production line checks.
• Assist with shut-down/start-up activities during maintenance.
