Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at their Paarl facility. You will oversee daily activities, supervise staff, and drive efficient, safe handling of goods within a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in warehouse supervision, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of safety regulations. You will manage inventory, support cycle counts, and help maintain high productivity with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervision or team lead experience.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations in the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in cycle counting and stock verification.
• Implement and maintain standards to improve productivity and reduce errors.
• Train new warehouse staff on procedures and safety protocols.
