Job summary

MA Automotive Tool and Die (PTY) Ltd in South Africa invites applications for a Crane Driver in Production, Plant 4. You will operate and control an overhead crane to transfer heavy objects between levels, reporting to the Team Leader.

Key duties include daily crane inspections, keeping the tool storage area clean and organized, replacing tool covers, placing airpins at draw bolsters, and ensuring bolsters are clean before loading new tooling.

Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Good eye-hand coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Lift, move & place tools at press line.
• Conduct daily crane inspections.
• Keep tool storage area clean and well organized.
• Replace tool covers at storage area.
• Place airpins correctly at the draw bolsters by using airpin mats.
• Ensure that all bolsters are cleaned (slugs etc.) prior to loading new tooling.
