Job summary

MANPOWER Group South Africa is seeking a warehouse and production support operator in Gauteng. You will operate forklifts, move raw materials, load/offload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a production/logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen management principles is advantageous.
• Good English communication skills are essential.
• MS Office knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to work safely and accurately in production/logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other lifting and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive, move and prepare raw materials for production planning.
• Load and offload trucks.
• Identify and distinguish between allergen and non-allergen products.
• Segregate and prepare reprocessable stock for production planning.
• Maintain a clean, sanitised and organised work area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen management requirements.
• Identify and immediately report any food safety risks or concerns to the relevant manager.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow company policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Assist colleagues and other departments when required.
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives within the workplace.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as instructed by management.
