Job summary

Discovery Limited's DC - Insure- Telesales Consultant role is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre in Sandton. The successful candidate will conduct Discovery Insure telesales and communicate with members via phone, fax and email.

You will identify sales opportunities, manage administration, achieve quality targets and adhere to service levels while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment.
• Minimum 2 years short-term product knowledge; Discovery Insure knowledge is an advantage.
• PC literacy: email, Word, Excel.
• Tertiary qualification an advantage.
• NQF5 and RE5 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities.
• Answer inbound calls timeously and make required outbound calls.
• Coordinate own administration.
• Maintain accurate details and statistics of all queries.
• Attend to general administration and achieve quality targets.
• Adhere to service level agreements.
