Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and confirm daily outbound deliveries with customers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Generate and process invoices, sales orders, and picking slips accurately and timeously.
  • Ensure all deliveries are booked, confirmed, and tracked using the companys logistics applications.
  • Import and manage orders using the Acumatica ERP system.
  • Handle credit note requests and ensure appropriate billing for courier / SAD documentation fees.
  • Monitor customer accounts for credit limits and confirm clearance of COD payments before dispatch.
  • Arrange backhaul collections, truck rentals, and customer self-collections as needed.
  • Ensure all documentation is correctly filed and delivery discrepancies are reported immediately.
  • Maintain the Open Sales Order Report with accurate PO numbers and due dates.
  • Act as backup support to the Invoice Clerk / Dispatch Logistics Assistant where required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Matric (Grade 12); Finance or accounting qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry (non-negotiable); Experience in invoicing, outbound coordination, and order processing; ERP system experience (Acumatica highly preferred).
  • Skills: Must be computer literate; Must be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively; Must thrive in a fast-paced environment; Must be a quick thinker with strong problem-solving abilities; Strong command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); High attention to detail and ability to multitask; Team-oriented, professional, and customer-service focused.
