Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd in Johannesburg seeks a Middleweight OSS Network Operations Engineer to support CRM and Fusion Middleware, ensure performance, security and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, IBM WebSphere Portal, MQ, LDAP, Kafka, ElasticSearch, LogStash and Kibana, and participate in on‑call incident management while documenting architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT.
• 3–5 years in network operations engineering focusing on OSS.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, and WebCenter Content.
• Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Portal, MQ, and LDAP.
• Experience with Kafka for data streaming and integration.
• Proficiency with ElasticSearch, LogStash, and Kibana for monitoring and log management.
• CRM integration within the middleware environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• On-call incident management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network operations for optimal performance.
• Support CRM and Fusion Middleware apps (Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware).
• Manage Oracle WebCenter Content and integration with systems.
• Configure IBM WebSphere Portal, IBM MQ, and IBM LDAP.
• Implement and manage Kafka for real‑time data streaming.
