Responsibilities

• Coordinate improved quality nursing care and ensure compliance with professional practice.
• Monitor nursing care and service delivery within a multi-disciplinary quality assurance team.
• Coordinate capacity building, mentoring and training of staff.
• Manage costs, stock, purchasing and correct billing within the department.
• Ensure infection prevention and standard precautions are adhered to.
• Promote patient safety, governance, and quality outcomes.
