Joint Medical Holdings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Unit Manager for the Isipingo Trauma unit. The role focuses on enhancing nursing care quality, ensuring adherence to professional standards, and coordinating a multidisciplinary team.
You will lead capacity building, mentoring, and training, drive clinical governance, monitor outcomes, and promote infection prevention. A strong background in trauma care and leadership is essential.
Formación
- Diploma or degree in nursing and registration with SANC.
- Management qualification or diploma.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic medical records systems.
- +5 years Trauma Exp. in Shift Leader/Management role.
Responsabilidades
- Oversee nursing care quality and ensure adherence to professional standards.
- Monitor and improve service delivery within quality assurance framework.
- Coordinate capacity building, mentoring, and training initiatives.
- Ensure accurate billing, stock management, and purchasing.
- Promote infection prevention and standard precautions.
- Ensure records are compiled timely and accurately.
- Lead staff development and manage attendance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and policy compliance.
