ImplantCast SA seeks an experienced Selling Agent to promote and grow its orthopaedic solutions in the Western Cape. You will work as an independent contractor, building relationships with surgeons, hospitals and procurement teams.

The role emphasizes field sales, tender awareness, product support during theatre cases and delivering market feedback. Must be legally registered and possess a valid driver’s licence with own transport.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in orthopaedics or medical devices.
• Operative and legally registered company.
• Existing relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and hospitals in the Western Cape advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

ImplantCast SA, a leading provider of innovative orthopaedic implant solutions, is seeking to appoint an experienced and results-driven Selling Agent to promote and grow our business within the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

The successful Agent will be responsible for:

• Promoting and extending the sale of ImplantCast products throughout the Western Cape.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, hospitals and procurement departments.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the territory.
• Keeping abreast of government and private tenders and assisting with bidding opportunities.
• Attending theatre cases and providing product support when required.
• Providing regular market feedback, competitor intelligence and sales forecasts.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An operative and legally registered company with all statutory registrations in place.
• Proven experience in the medical device industry.
• A minimum of 3 years' sales experience within one or more of the following disciplines:
• oArthroplasty
• oSports Medicine
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Existing relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and hospitals within the Western Cape will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently as an Independent contractor/Agent.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Refrain from representing competing arthroplasty products or engaging in activities that create a conflict of interest without prior written approval.
