Job summary

Dynexity Pty Ltd is seeking Medical Sales Representatives to join its expanding team. The role involves selling specialised surgical instruments and consumables to hospitals, building relationships with surgeons, theatre managers and procurement teams, and supporting procedures in theatre.

Candidates should have Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification, nursing or theatre experience, hospital relationships, and proven medical sales experience.

A leading medical device and surgical supply business is expanding its sales team and is looking for Medical Sales Representatives to join its growing operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven medical sales professional who enjoys working directly with surgeons, theatre teams and hospitals and wants to build strong, long-term relationships within the surgical environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Role:

• Sell specialised surgical instruments and consumables to hospitals
• Build relationships with surgeons, theatre managers and procurement teams
• Develop new business and grow existing accounts
• Attend surgical procedures and provide product and technical support in theatre
• Manage instrument sets, consumables and case-related stock
• Work closely with hospital billing and procurement teams
• Participate in an after-hours and emergency standby roster

Requirements:

• Completed Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
• Nursing or theatre experience, existing surgeon or hospital relationships, and experience with private hospital groups.
• Previous medical, healthcare or hospital experience
• Proven medical sales experience, ideally within surgical products, instruments or consumables
• Comfortable working in theatre and supporting surgical procedures
• Strong commercial and business development ability
• Knowledge of hospital billing and NAPPI codes
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to work standby and respond to emergency cases
