Job summary

Kabstrading Co in South Africa seeks an organized orders administrator to receive, capture and process customer orders accurately and within required timelines.

You will liaise with the sales team, customers, warehouse, and logistics to manage stock availability, dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.

You will track orders from placement to delivery, maintain up-to-date records, prepare status reports and respond promptly to queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive, capture and process customer orders accurately and within required timelines.
• Serve as the link between the sales team, customers, warehouse, supply chain and logistics teams.
• Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams regarding stock availability, dispatch and delivery schedules.
• Track orders from placement to delivery and proactively communicate delays or issues to the relevant sales representatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order records and customer account information.
• Prepare reports on order status, sales administration and account activities.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, recordkeeping and responding to customer queries.
• Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external queries relating to orders and deliveries.
• Identify and escape discrepancies involving orders, stock availability and invoicing.
• Support the sales team with day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth operations.
