Job summary

Network Finance represents an established engineering and construction business in Gauteng, seeking a hands-on finance professional to manage month-end close, intercompany, VAT and audit support in a fast-paced environment. You will own the general ledger, fixed assets, and balance sheet schedules while partnering with teams across the business.

The ideal candidate holds a BCom in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of accounting experience, SAICA/SAIPA articles completed, and Pastel/Xero

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in a commercial environment.
• SAICA or SAIPA articles completed.
• CIMA would be an advantage and Pastel/Xero experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Process intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare VAT, tax-related reconciliations, and statutory submissions.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, and support audit requirements.
