Job summary

Daily duties include pre-operational inspections, minor maintenance, and supporting planned preventive maintenance. You will liaise with clients and supervisors, adhere to safety protocols, and help resolve process challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Standard 10 Technical (Essential/Minimum).
• 1-2 years of relevant operation experience at an operational level (Essential/Minimum).
• Valid Code EC Public Driver's License (Essential/Minimum).
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) to be conducted by Exxaro.
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) to be conducted by Exxaro.

Responsibilities

• Execute professional customer support services, ensuring effective communication with clients and supervisors to relay information about duties performed.
• Operate and control crane and other machinery in compliance with performance standards, while adhering to safety procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of all machinery, including cranes, transporters, and forklifts to identify maintenance requirements.
• Perform small-scale maintenance and assist in planned preventative maintenance and breakdown recovery to optimize equipment usage.
• Monitor and evaluate process flow within circuits and machines, communicating any constraints or issues to the supervisor for troubleshooting.
• Adhere to health and safety practices, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through good housekeeping and risk identification.
