Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong safety compliance, risk assessment and reporting skills.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities maintenance and readiness across Corporate Stores.
• Monitor service providers, transport vendors and contractor performance.
• Ensure OHS, regulatory compliance, including inspections and audits.
• Implement and monitor OHS frameworks, SOPs and incident reporting.
• Maintain statutory records and monthly compliance dashboards.
• Provide OHS training and coaching to regional and store managers.

We are seeking an Operations Support Coordinator for a leading QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) company, this role coordinates operational support activities across all Corporate Store locations within South Africa, ensuring strict compliance with safety, health, employee transport agreement as per policies, maintenance scheduling, & general operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating facilities maintenance & operational readiness, including essential equipment repairs
• Monitoring service provider agreements, transport vendors & contractor performance
• Ensuring OHS, regulatory & legislative compliance, including HIRA & safety inspections
• Implementing & monitoring OHS frameworks, systems & SOPs
• Maintaining statutory records, dashboards & monthly compliance reports
• Conducting risk assessments & ensuring ongoing safety preparedness
• Liaising with corporate, regional & store management, service providers & internal support teams
• Providing OHS training & coaching to Regional and Store Managers

Requirements:

• Occupational Health and Safety qualifications or relevant certificates
• Minimum proven 3 – 5 years’ previous supervisory, Occupational Health & Safety or combined retail related management experience
• Fluent in English (verbal & written) - Proficient Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite
• Own reliable transport & valid driver’s license

Salary: R25000 – R35000 DOE
