Placements24 is seeking an experienced Management Consultant with a focus on Operations Optimization to join our team in Klerksdorp, North West. You will assess client operations, design optimization strategies, and drive Lean/Six Sigma-based improvements across multiple industries to deliver measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• MBA or relevant Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, or operations consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed in and around Klerksdorp, North West.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of client operational processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Design and implement strategies for supply chain optimization, inventory management, and logistics.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and manage project plans for operational improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with client teams to implement new processes and technologies.
• Analyze operational data to identify KPIs and track progress.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build client capabilities in operational excellence.
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and progress reports to client management.
• Contribute to business development activities and expansion of the firm's operations practice.
