Jobs2day SA in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for an established organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role focusing on warehousing, inventory, staff and commercial management.

You will own day-to-day operations, oversee warehouse performance, stock control, budgeting and reporting, maintain client relations and SLAs, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Based in Gauteng, you should be prepared to commute daily to Modderfontein/Longmeadow area.

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or equivalent management‑level role.
• Strong warehousing and inventory management experience.
• Experience managing operational teams and multiple functions.
• Sound budgeting, cost‑control and financial acumen.
• Experience managing clients, suppliers and SLAs.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and reporting skills.
• Matric; relevant Business/Operations Management qualification preferred.
• SYSPRO and/or Pastel experience advantageous.
• Industrial or chemical-sector experience advantageous, but not essential.
• Valid driver's licence.

Operations Manager – Johannesburg

Location: East Rand / Modderfontein Area
Salary: R45 000 – R55 000 CTC per month
Exceptional candidates slightly above the range may be considered.

Jobs2day is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for an established organisation in Johannesburg.

This is a management-level appointment suited to a hands‑on operational leader with strong warehousing, inventory, people and commercial management experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the effective day‑to‑day operation, including warehouse performance, stock control, staff management, financial controls, client service, compliance and continuous improvement.
