Reporting to: Director

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Warehouse Foreman & Logistics Controller) to join our team in Gauteng.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in warehouse operations management, possess strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans, and demonstrate proficiency in PC usage.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Warehouse Staff & Drivers (25+ staff)
• Stock Management
• Logistics & Fleet Management
• Warehouse Housekeeping
• Very hands on person with the warehouse operations

The successful candidate will report directly to the director, overseeing the distribution flow and coordinating supplier deliveries, customer collections, and our own deliveries. They will also be responsible for sales order arrangements and load planning.

Requirements:

• Experience in the steel industry (preferred)
• Hands-on approach to warehouse operations
• Office administration capabilities

Candidates with certifications or diplomas in relevant fields will be considered.
