Job summary

Innovazi Consulting seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead branch operations, oversee budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and project costing, and ensure compliance across health and safety, quality and legal requirements.

You will coordiate warehouse, inventory, supplier and customer relationships, while driving process improvements and profitability. Relevant degree and experience in operations are essential; Syspro/Pastel knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 + a degree in business, operations management or related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a senior management role.
• Strong experience in operations, warehouse, staff and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations and multiple departments.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, expenditure, debtors and profitability.
• Oversee monthly billing, invoicing, claims and project costing.
• Manage warehouse operations, inventory and stock control.
• Ensure adherence to client and supplier SLAs.
• Manage client relationships, service delivery and complaints.
• Oversee HR, staff performance, training, absenteeism and IR processes.
• Manage Health & Safety, risk management and legal compliance.
• Assist with quotations, sales and business development initiatives.
• Manage suppliers and monitor supplier SLA performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Assist with internal, external, ISO, SHE and customer audits.
• Ensure all operational licences, permits and compliance requirements are maintained.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

• Strong leadership, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 08 Drivers Licence.
• Chemical Manufacturing Industry experience is highly advantageous.
• Syspro and Pastel experience will be advantageous.
