Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Certification: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
• Post Matric Qualification in related field is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our end-to-end service delivery, from installation to aftercare. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role is about driving efficiency, maintaining quality, and leading a team to execute daily operations smoothly. You will be the key link between the field teams and senior leadership, solving problems and removing roadblocks

Financial & Budget Management
Own the operations budget (OPEX) and protect profit margins.
Track spending closely and find practical ways to reduce fuel and operational costs without sacrificing quality.
Approve purchases within set limits, ensuring every expense is necessary and policy-compliant.
2. Safety & Compliance
Ensure all sites and vehicles meet legal safety standards (OHS).
Lead safety training and enforce strict safety protocols for installations and driver behavior.
Investigate any safety incidents thoroughly and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
3. Process Improvement & Strategy:
Use Lean or Six Sigma methods to cut waste and streamline workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Preferred Education: Post Matric Qualification in related field
• Experience: 8+ years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
