Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all centre operations for a mall, manage handymen, service providers and maintenance tasks to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective facilities.

The role will require weekend, public holiday and after-hours work as needed, with the ability to collaborate with retailers, tenants, centre team and service providers to deliver a well‑functioning shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the property facilities management industry.
• Proven track record of operations management in a retail centre environment.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of all centre operations to ensure efficient, safe and cost-effective functioning of facilities and services.
• This role oversees the maintenance and services, security, budgeting, tenant operational relations, service providers, shop works for handover and regulatory compliance.
• Assist the centre manager with any operational related advice and information to run an effective shopping centre and provide a successful environment for retailers and their customers.
• The role requires the ability to effectively work with various stakeholders from retailers to customers, centre team and service providers.
• The candidate needs to be able to adapt to different requirements and be willing to help out in all areas of managing the centre as and when required.

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for all the operational aspects of running the mall and the management of all core operational staff, including handymen, service providers and helping with maintenance tasks where required.

The role will require one to work weekends, public holidays and after hours as and when required due to operational matters needing attention.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelors Degree or similar


• Proven track record of operations management and performance management in a retail centre management environment


• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the property facilities management industry
