Riseup Management in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead daily plant workflow, drive production targets and optimise resource use.

You will implement preventative maintenance programmes, manage budgeted costs, and mentor maintenance and production staff while upholding OHSA/SHEQ standards to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' operational or maintenance management experience in manufacturing or packaging.
• Proven track record in preventative maintenance systems and production optimisation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Computer literate.
• Experience with sachet filling machines or liquid packaging equipment (advantageous).

• Oversee daily plant workflow, production targets and efficiency.
• Manage preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes across all plant equipment to minimise downtime.
• Lead, mentor and schedule maintenance and production staff, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards (OHSA/SHEQ).
• Monitor operational expenditure, control spare parts inventory and optimise maintenance costs.

Minimum Requirements:
