Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental properties in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa. The role is hands-on, requiring direct engagement with tenants, property upkeep, and financial administration to ensure tenant satisfaction and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience, strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, excellent organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with property management

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned residential properties.
• Oversee tenant relations, including screening, leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and addressing inquiries and complaints.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards and identify repair needs.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work, liaising with contractors and vendors.
• Enforce lease terms and property rules, addressing any lease violations.
• Collect rent payments and manage overdue accounts.
• Process invoices, pay property-related bills, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with marketing vacant units, conducting property showings, and processing rental applications.
• Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and national housing laws and regulations.
• Prepare regular reports for property owners and senior management on property performance.
