Job summary

Crew Life At Sea is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist for an international cruise ship placement. You will deliver physiotherapy treatments to guests and crew, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with ship doctors and nurses in a multicultural, onboard medical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Licensed/registered Physiotherapist with valid certification to practice.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or sports medicine clinics.
• Experience with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions; sports injury management is a plus.
• Familiarity with exercise prescription, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy treatments to guests and crew for musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with shipboard doctors and nurses.
• Support crew health with preventive care programs to reduce injuries.
• Operate physiotherapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and reports.
• Educate patients on exercise, posture, and injury prevention techniques.
• Participate in health promotion and wellness activities onboard.
• Assist in emergency response as part of the ship's medical team.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
