The role requires a fitness qualification and strong communication skills, with fluency in English and Portuguese. Shipboard duties involve long hours and adapting to life at sea while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant fitness, personal training, or sports qualification.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programmes, and wellness.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and personalised training sessions.
• Lead group fitness classes and exercise activities.
• Provide guidance on safe and effective exercise techniques.
• Motivate and support guests in achieving their fitness goals.
• Promote fitness programmes, personal training sessions, and wellness services.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the fitness area.
• Ensure fitness equipment is used correctly and safely.
• Assist with fitness-related guest enquiries and provide professional advice.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Deliver excellent guest service in a professional and welcoming manner.
