Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Engineer for on-site work in Tembisa, Gauteng. The role involves maintenance, repair, and support of industrial machinery with frequent travel to customer sites within the region.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and at least 3 years in field service, plus proficiency with diagnostic tools and PLC systems. Valid driving license and own vehicle are required.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years in field service or technical support for industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and test equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues using diagnostic tools.
• Install, commission, and upgrade equipment per specs and customer needs.
• Provide technical training and support to customer personnel.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain spare parts inventory.
