Job summary

Datonomy Solutions in Cape Town is seeking a Digital and Ecommerce Project Manager to lead customer facing digital and ecommerce initiatives across business and technology teams. You will coordinate online journeys, payments services and fulfilment dependencies to ensure releases meet customer and commercial outcomes with controlled risk.

You will manage scope, budgets, dependencies and reporting, translate objectives into deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive release

Qualifications

• Proven record of delivering digital or ecommerce projects.
• Experience coordinating omni channel dependencies.
• Payments related project delivery including integration, refunds.
• Strong governance, planning and stakeholder management.
• Experience with integration testing and release readiness.
• Ability to explain delivery risk in business terms.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, delivery plans, budgets, dependencies and reporting across assigned digital or ecommerce initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into agreed deliverables and acceptance criteria with product, digital and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate web or app delivery with order management, inventory visibility, fulfilment, customer service and finance dependencies.
• Manage payment service provider or acquiring partner workstreams including checkout, refunds, reconciliation and failed payment handling.
• Coordinate solution delivery, integration testing, security review, user acceptance and operational readiness with accountable specialists.
• Plan release sequencing around trading activity, go-live decisions and hypercare/incident escalation.
• Track benefits using measures such as journey completion, payment success or fulfilment performance and handover to business.
