Job summary

Farm Manager SA is looking for a dedicated individual to lead a diverse team in olive orchard management in South Africa, Wes-Kaap. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day leadership, ensuring the health of olive trees through effective maintenance and management practices.

Applicants should have a strong background in agriculture, with at least 5 years of related experience, and must possess excellent communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a team-oriented mindset. A solid understanding of Global GAP HACCP ISO standards is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience with and understanding of olive growing preferable.
• Must be trustworthy, hands-on, and a team player who enjoys working with high standards of excellence.
• Eager to learn.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day leadership of the diverse team.
• Orchard maintenance and management of olive trees.
• Planning and execution of general cleaning and maintenance of the property grounds.
