About the Role

Our client, a leader in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a seasoned Offshore Installation Manager to oversee complex offshore construction projects from their base near Polokwane . This senior leadership role demands extensive experience in managing large-scale offshore operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for all aspects of offshore execution, including marine operations, construction, and commissioning phases. This hybrid position requires frequent travel to offshore locations while maintaining a strong connection with the onshore support team in the Limpopo province.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all offshore construction and installation activities for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive offshore execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards offshore.
• Oversee marine logistics, vessel operations, and offshore personnel management.
• Manage interfaces with project engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.
• Mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges encountered during offshore campaigns.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in offshore project management and execution within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proven track record as an Offshore Installation Manager on major projects (FPSOs, platforms, subsea).
• Strong knowledge of offshore construction techniques, marine operations, and heavy lifting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) and willingness to travel extensively.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
