Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd. seeks a specialist to execute short-term energy trading activities on behalf of NTCSA, analysing electricity markets, entering trades, validating schedules, and supporting stakeholder relationships to maximize value from regional electricity markets.

The role will be based at Megawatt Park, Gauteng, with a focus on NTCSA trading operations and market compliance. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Commerce/Finance/Accounting and experience in energy

Responsibilities

• Analyse electricity markets and identify trading opportunities.
• Execute short-term energy trades in bilateral and regional markets.
• Validate, submit, and reconcile trading schedules and transactions.
• Monitor market performance, transmission availability, and trading compliance.
• Develop trading reports and support performance analysis.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and support contract implementation.
